Race to power

Today I'm going for badminton game at last... Practiced for nearly two hours yesterday with captain Kim, and both of us were exhausted.
Not really wise to stretch yourself too much on the day before the match... Laughs

I was having the addictive nasi lemak at stall just now, to spice up my morning without fearing diabetes or food poisoning( shouldn't be eating it too often, but it's the most reasonable pricing among food sold on campus... Damn the inflation

Anyway, while I was eating and checking websites, some piece of news spiced up my morning too. I wouldn't say fueled, because fuel price is high now. You know what, Zahid Hamidi made himself famous by vexing Chinese with his sensitive remarks. How come this kind of people can become home minister I also don't know. They say it's because he wanted to win in the UMNO VP race.

I forgot what he said, because all of them were crap, so if you have nothing better to do, maybe you can go for a few laughs.

And, he seems to be on the verge of winning, as confirmed by UMNO insiders. Getting advantage by upsetting the other ethnicity? This earns you votes? Ok, meaning that either 1-the delegates love racist remarks or 2-the delegates love dramas because life is too boring and miserable or 3- their brains *muted*............

Hishamuddin isn't one who likes to play racism cards( I don't really like him, but he's quite moderate compared to the others), that's why he might be ousted by Mukhriz and Ali Rustam. Both are very adept at upsetting the other ethnics so.. You understand the party tradition. Want win? Then hurl some offensive remarks towards any ethnic except for Malay. Mukhriz made his debut by stating he won't be helping the Kedah Chinese because they didn't vote for him. Nice one, Mukhriz! Limpeh clap for you!

慕克里就是现代版阿斗。可是他爸爸又没有刘备的品格。Mukhriz has a solid background, and Ali Rustam... I dunno, but he's really famous when he was the malacca state chief.
See, you have people that don't qualify going after important posts. This is politics.

While this morning BFM talked about other developed Asia countries, I really want to mourn for Malaysia. She is like a patient clinging on to the medical ventilator. If there is a will there will be no reason for a country to be underdeveloped. South Korea was very poor in the sixties, with a high unemployment rate and beggars seen everywhere. Their brands were equivalent to cheap but poor quality at that time. Now samsung already chowed down 20%++ of the smart phone global market( from what I have read last few months). Impressive. Koreans have the ability to package their culture and sell it like high end goods. I guess one of the reasons is that they have a strong sense of national identity and pride, shown in some overseas Korean whose descendants still learn the language. Unlike some Chinese who don't even want to learn Chinese and still very proud of that fact.

I'm off topic. No eyes to see the political factions and country corruption.
It's the season for no-brain talks by public figures, including Zahid Hamidi's hallmark "shoot first" "universal humanitarian" remark and another police officer( or chief) saying that "it is not the interest of the police to take care of Malaysians", asking us to wipe our own asses. But the police are paid with the rakyat's income tax money. good, you so haughty, then we also don't want to pay you la.
Mahathir is also out now. Seeing him often in news nowadays. It's open season, buddies.
